Spring is officially here! As much as I love being cozy in Winter, I love the new beginning Spring brings. The air smells fresher, the light is bright and cheerful, and flowers bloom left and right! I welcomed Spring a bit early with some carnations, and they have lasted 3 weeks! Here they are when I first picked them up:
About a third of the flowers have wilted but the rest are going strong, if not just a little paler in color. I love how they look in this glass jug from Target.
Here they are now, severely trimmed and in a tinted jar also from Target:
I’ll have to toss them soon, and pick up some fresh flowers to spring with.
