One Room Challenge week 2 is here! To be honest I didn’t get much done in the last week because I just got back from a two week trip to Germany (posts coming soon). I always find a way to make things harder for myself!

If you need a refresher here are my plans:
I live in a rental apartment so I won’t be doing any painting or renovations, just decorating and styling.
This week I picked out blackout curtains and hung them. I was inspired by a hotel we stayed in that had a full wall of curtains. I think it makes the window look larger and hides the awkward empty part of the wall. I really liked the idea of moody, dark curtains so I went with these dark green ones. They are from Amazon and come in a variety of colors and lengths. I should hem these because they are a tad too long, maybe for another week 😉
Other than that, I’ve narrowed down my choices for wallpaper behind the bed. Let me know which one you like the most! I’m leaning toward the herringbone or tick mark ones.
Bird Flock | Herringbone | Tick Lines | Blue | Tropical
That’s it for now! I am going to spend some time this weekend knocking out a few projects. Check out the other guest posts for the One Room Challenge here.
