Happy Sunday, hope you had a great weekend! I tried a new cocktail this weekend and it was so good I had to post the recipe asap.
We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday Saturday and had a great gathering with friends. I made a peach crisp to celebrate which inspired me to make some peach cocktails as well. I’ve had my eyes on the new Ketel One Botanical Vodka, and one of the flavors is Peach & Orange Blossom, so I picked it up.
I love moscow mules and I’m always looking for ways to play with a new flavor. For this mule we’re using a standard moscow mule recipe, but swapping normal vodka for Ketel One Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom Vodka. We’re also adding in 1/2 oz basil simple syrup. I make this simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water to a pot over medium-high heat. Stir to combine until all sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and add in equal parts basil leaves. Let sit for 30 minutes to infuse. Remove basil and enjoy your syrup.
