I have a special request DIY to share with you today! My friend asked if I could make her a Deathly Hallows lamp for her birthday after she saw one on Pinterest, so of course I couldn’t let her down.
I originally wanted to make it from wood so it would be sturdier, but I ended up finding this great DIY video to follow instead:
I used a basic lamp from Ikea for the base and used foam board for the triangle and circle. I originally used foam board from the dollar store but found it didn’t cut cleanly so I purchased some higher quality boards from target and they worked great.
I glued the foam together with Elmer’s rubber cement and painted the foam with various shades of brown to give it a wood look.
