I’m back with another mood board for my apartment! I thought I was going to be able to plan and decorate my apartment quicker than I have, but as usual, life has just been in the way.
If you haven’t seen my hallway design yet, check it out here. I’ll be posting the completed hallway next week.
Today I’ll be sharing my design plan for my craft space/office. It is a den space that I share with my boyfriend, but I’ll be just designing and decorating my half of the room. He’s a shoe
hoarder collector, and figuring out his half and my half in one go was going to be too much to handle.
Here’s my floorplan so you can have an idea of my set-up:
The primary use for the space will be a work desk and storage for all my DIY supplies. I’m making an EIGHT foot table from a piece of plywood, and will store most of my supplies in an Ikea Kallax unit:

I was really struggling with the design for this space – I wanted to keep it minimal and clean, but I also had a large pegboard I wanted to incorporate. I really didn’t need the pegboard for storage and it ended up making the space feel cluttered. I love that this design feels clean, but still has a personality to it.
Surprisingly I only have two projects planned for this space – the desktop and the wood “create” sign. I am going to try to make the sign with my Cricut maker and some balsa wood.
My goal is to complete this room in the next few weeks. Check back soon to see the full reveal!
